  1. 山河眾多而交錯。形容路途遙遠險阻。唐·賈島〈送耿處士〉詩：「萬水千山路，孤舟幾月程。」《西遊記·第四○回》：「你在東勝神洲，他這裡是西牛賀洲，路程遙遠，隔著萬水千山。」也作「千山萬水」。
