  1. 古代置於死者口中的玉、貝等物。同「含」（二）​。《說文解字·玉部》：「琀，送死口中玉也。」清·徐珂《清稗類鈔·鑒賞類·陳原心藏古玉八十一事》：「入土重出之玉，世謂之舊玉。更有古時含殮之器，謂之琀玉。」
